About Solid Rock Youth
Our purpose...
We seek to offer young people an opportunity to
explore the idea of a personal relationship with a
loving God, through Jesus Christ. We hold to the
teachings of the Bible, and believe that it is through
the grace of God and the gift of a savior, Jesus Christ,
that we are invited into God's presence.

Our approach...
Nowhere in the Bible does it say that it's
supposed to be boring, stifling, formal, or
intimidating to follow Jesus. We believe in having
a lot of fun, making a lot of noise, expressing a lot
of energy, and finding creative ways to learn more
about God. No "coat and tie" required.

Who's invited?)
The only real rule we have on this one is that the junior high group is for
6th-8th graders, and the high school group is for 9th-12th graders (and
the occasional college age student who sticks around for more!). We
have had countless young people from a tremendous range of other
churches, and many who have no church background at all. That just
doesn't matter to us. We certainly do not wish to pull anyone away from
their own church, but we do offer a church home to those in search of one.
